Houston, We've Got A Problem

A short time ago, The Huffington post put an interview up quoting Barack Obama stating he will support the FISA program protecting the Telecom Co's from lawsuit for illegal wire taps. Now, I understand that the new compromise draft is not as heavy as the last one, but it still however it does give cover to the Telecom Co's that was the big hold out for so many people. I was reading the comment's left so far and it's not good. Obama supporters are not happy. Everyone of them so far were very bad. Now, Harry Reid said he was going to try to get that provision removed next week, but he was not hopeful. Frankly, Obama needs to oppose this bill 100%. Constitutional Law Professor Jonathan Turley feels this bill is against the law. I know Obama is trying to appeal to Center of the road voters, But, we all know how illegal the Bush admin. is. Barack, I feel needs to NOT SUPPORT THIS BILL. Regardless the pressure from the right. He will lose more of his own supporters then gain republican supporters.. This is a very bad move. What say You.??? I write this because I see this as another storm brewing on the horizon. The clouds are darkening.

Hey dude, I am actually one of your subscribers on YouTube and never realized you had a blog, I really enjoy the video's you have put up and use them on my own blog.

I think it is a shame that Senator Obama has not declared his unequivocal support for the Bill but given the last two elections and their focus on terrorism/national security, the safer bet is that Senator Obama play on for the moment and reverse his decision once he is in power?

I know this sounds bad but if we compare the number of the kind of person Senator Obama is, I believe he will make the right choice once he is President to balance the need for security and civil rights.
